To those affected by a heart defect:

Baby Steps

December 25, 2006 at 5:05 pm by Mom & Dad

We are pleased to report that Haven has had a very good past 24 hours. She gave everyone a bit of a scare yesterday afternoon, but she pulled through and has been doing very well since. The doctors are trying to wean her off some of her meds (she is on MANY meds: one nurse mentioned it might a record high number 😉 ), and they have successfully removed one medication today already. Her kidneys are functioning better and better each day. The doctor says the improvements are small, but improvements nonetheless. Baby steps are fine with us, just so long as they are going forward!

What wonderful news to get on Christmas Day that Haven is doing well. It is very good to hear her kidneys are beginning to work on thier own.

Merry Christmas Johnson family! Praise the Lord! I’m so excited to hear that Haven’s surgery went well and that she is starting to do things on her own now. That’s an answer to prayer. I will continue to pray as her little body recovers and for strength for the two of you as you sit by and watch. Your faith and strength is a wonderful testimony of how God works. Love to you all! Sierra

Goodmorning! Hope all had a good weekend! On the way home from visiting Jeremey,Alison and Haven last evening I am reminded of the blessings that God has given us. Sometimes we do not realize what we have until you see a little one go through situations such as Haven is. Her life even now is having an effect on those around her and choices they make. Thankyou Haven, Jeremey and Alison for remaining strong. We will continue on. Talk with you later.
Good to hear that Grandpa M.s ankle has made it thru surgery.:)
