To those affected by a heart defect:

First Post!

Hello!  It’s Friday night and we’re anxiously awaiting Haven’s arrival.  We are scheduled for an induction bright and early at 8:00am on Monday morning, the 11th, unless of course she decides to make her entrance (or her exit?) earlier.  In which case, we will be driving to downtown Indianapolis sooner.  That’s ok, though, because the car is packed and ready to go any time.

This is exciting guys! What a wonderful time to be able to finally meet Haven face to face. You just don’t like talking about people when they are in another womb. (tee hee 😉

I’m praying for all three of you and hope that things will work out for the best!

    Keep the faith!

This site contains the story of Haven Leigh and serves as a source of hope and encouragement to anyone who has or knows a child born with HLHS, a congenital heart defect, or other terminal illness. Here, we show the rewards of nurturing and supporting a special child while celebrating her memory by sharing her story with others.
