Updates #1 & #2

Haven has been in the operating room for 3 hours now. As of 9:45am they were still prepping her with new I.V.’s as well as getting her hooked up to the ventilator and bypass machines. Of course, she has been put to sleep with anesthesia through all of this. Â

Hello all, Uncle Justin and I were able to visit with Jeremey, Alison and Haven last evening. Alison seem to have more movement and bearings about herself. Jeremey looked as if he was starting to catch up on some sleep. And Haven, what can I say, she is more then you could imagine. When I walked in to see her I said her name and she opended her eyes wide and smiled at me. I believe there was a wink as well.:) It’s true, ask Alison. She was standing there beside me. With only two being allowed to visit Haven, Jeremey stepped out with Uncle Justin. After Haven opened her eyes and almost having a conversation with me Alison went to get Jeremey so he could see her eyes open. She smiled at Mommy and Daddy. Of course all of you should know that I leaned over and told Haven to smile at them so that they wouldnt be Jealous. 😉
If I didnt know any better you would almost believe that she was ready to go home. However I’ll take the specialists word on her condition.
Before leaving Haven I told her to stay strong and I’ll see her after surgery. She then seemed to close her eyes and go to sleep. It was a joy to be able to see her before the surgery.
I’m proud of Jeremey and Alison. The strength they both have.
Uncle Justin and I were able to help Jeremey and Alison unload there personal items into there room at the Ronald McDonald home. I could sense that Alison was starting to have more feeling in over worked areas. Without complaints she continued moving forward with the matters of Haven and Jeremey. For those of you who know Alison best you know what I’m talking about. She and Jeremey are strong. Enough for now. We will continue to keep all of you updated as much as possible.
Oh, Just a reminder. Grandpa McMullin is having surgery on his ankle next Monday. Say a prayer for him. And if I know him he will be up in no time and along with Grandma McMullin they will find a way to get back to Indy to see there granddaughter. Thankyou all again for your thoughts and prayers for Jeremey,Alison and Haven.
