Sleeping Beauty

Haven had another good day. It was calm and relaxing…mainly because she only opened her eyes a couple of times for a couple of seconds. The little thing slept ALL day. She probably needs her rest, and we’re glad that she can comfortably sleep without the assistance of medications. However, Mom & Dad had to find an alternate source of entertainment. So, we did a puzzle. It was nice, but not nearly as fun as playing with Haven. Hopefully, she won’t party all night tonight so we can play with her tomorrow. Â

Glad to hear you guys are hainging in there. We are still praying for Haven daily and trusting in God’s plan for her. Things are very busy for us right now the kids have a lot of field trips and ball games to keep us running. The girls and I are headed to Girl Scout camp this weekend for a mother-daughter retreat. Relax, I think not! I do try and remember to enjoy it because they will be grown up and gone all too soon!

Dearest Alison, What a tough way to earn the special title, MOTHER !!! Little Haven has done her level best to make sure you had to work hard over her short life. Moms go through so very many things, things to help you grow. Like drawing closer to your husband, trusting in God completely, placing your little one into His hands, believing in yourself to mold this gift from God into the person God intended her to be. You have done more for Haven than many us go through in a lifetime. You have done it with grace, faith, love and a positive attitude. We are proud to know you and to wish you a HAPPY FIRST MOTHER’S DAY !!!
