A better day
Haven had a good day today. Her temperature was better, and she was feeling much more herself. Her G-tube site is looking much better, too. The surgeon came by and put an extra stitch around her dialysis catheter. He also used some surgical glue that sort of works like window caulking. It’s supposed to seal up any cracks to prevent leaks. Hopefully, it will work so that dialysis will be more effective. If we can stop the leakage around that site, we may be able to be a bit more aggressive at getting fluid off. Thanks for checking up on us. We’ll keep you posted!

Hello again, sure nice to hear Haven is feeling better today. We like the way you explain things so that it’s easier for us to understand. The “glue and caulking” may sound funny but it sure makes sense. Anything to help get more fluid off is great. We may be a distance away in miles but all three of you are close in our hearts. Always in our thoughts ‘n prayers. Bonnie ‘n Virgil

It’s good to hear that you had a better day yesterday. Just keep on keeping on. I am praying for you three! Hopefully soon, the doctors can figure out what is behind all of this. Until then, continue to stand on Christ.
