Feeds Going Better
Today was not extremely eventful, but we were able to increase Haven’s feedings. She is now on her new formula at full strength, and they have been able to increase her volume as well. Unfortunately, she has continued getting more and more swollen. The poor thing was unable to open her eyes today due to the puffiness. Her urine output has increased a little but not nearly enough to catch up to the amount of fluid she has retained in her body.  It looks like she’s going to be able to make it until tomorrow until she receives more blood. This is good because that means we can due the genetics testing in the morning.  One theory is that getting more blood may also help her move fluid easier. Hopefully that is the case. Tomorrow promises to be a much busier day. We’ll keep you updated as things progress.Â

We are so anxious to see the pictures/video of Haven in her special dress. We are in prayer with you about Haven’s newer “issues”. Our girls use that term all the time and it seems to refer to about everything. She has “issues” with this or that…oh, the lingo of teenagers. So Haven, you’re right in style having “issues”. While it’s “cool” to be in with the older kids, we’d like you to work on settling some of your “issues” so you can get out of that hospital and meet those older kids!!! Alison and Jeremey, we love you all so very much! God is the ultimate physician and we are praying for his earthly servants to get to the bottom of Haven’s
“issues”.

We certainly are prayerful that all the testing will provide answers to help Haven. It sounds like she will be a busy girl for the next few days. It was very nice of the nurse to bring Haven a little dress…all the nurses must be very attached to her. I know we are! We know you’re taking care of Haven..take care of yourselves also. Again we are praying for God’s healing, comfort and peace as you face this next turn of events. Thank you for being so generous in sharing this part of your lives. Have a nice evening. Love & prayers, Laurie
